High-pressure plastic pump with booster (HP option)
The high-pressure option (HP) is a compact booster that can be mounted directly on the pump. It is capable of doubling the discharge pressure. With an available air pressure of, for example, 7 bar, the output pressure can reach 14 bar.
The design is based on the standard DELLMECO pump, made of milled polyethylene (PE). A pressure regulator is already integrated into the unit for easy pressure adjustment.
Applications include filter presses and drying of slurries, particularly in the food and beverage industry, but also within water and wastewater management.
Plastic pump with solenoid valve (MV option)
DELLMECO plastic pumps with the MV option replace the standard air valve with a solenoid-controlled air valve. This allows the medium to be pumped with precise and constant volumes, ideal for applications in the chemical industry, among others.
The pump is equipped with a 2-position, 4-way solenoid valve.
When the solenoid valve is de-energized, one chamber of the pump is filled with compressed air and the opposite chamber is emptied.
When the valve is energized, the previously emptied chamber is re-pressurized and the other chamber is emptied.
By alternately turning the solenoid valve on and off, the pump functions like a standard DELLMECO pump – without the need for lubrication.
This option operates on 24 V DC and is not suitable for submerged use.
Barrier chamber system (BC option).
To meet increased safety requirements, this system replaces the standard membrane with a tandem arrangement of two membranes, with a conductive PE barrier chamber filled with a non-conductive liquid (usually deionized water) in between.
Sensors monitor the conductivity of this fluid. When membrane damage occurs, the conductivity changes, which is detected by the sensors. An electronic signal is then automatically sent to a controller.
The barrier chamber system is available in three variants:
– BC1 – barrier chamber with sensors (standard equipment)
– BC2 – barrier chamber including sensors and control system
– BC3 – barrier chamber including sensors and control, suitable for hazardous areas (ATEX compliant)
Stroke count (SC options)
A sensor is placed in the central pump housing to record the number of strokes of the pump. This sensor detects diaphragm movement completely non-contact – ensuring safe and reliable monitoring, completely independent of external influences or the pump’s operating mode.
The signal from the sensor is transmitted as output data to an existing detector or a digital counter (supplied). Once the preset value is reached, the stroke counter system can be automatically switched off, for example via a solenoid valve.
The stroke counting system is available in five versions:
– SC1 – Stroke sensor (NAMUR type), also suitable for explosive areas
– SC2 – Complete system with sensor and counter
– SC3 – Complete system with sensor, counter and controller for ATEX zones
– SC4 – Pneumatic stroke counting system with pressure sensor
– SC5 – Pneumatic stroke counting system with pressure sensor and counter
When only the sensor is needed (SC1), it should be connected to an existing controller with a NAMUR-type input.
For applications in hazardous areas, an intrinsically safe controller is required (SC3), which must be placed between the sensor and the counter.
Wiring diagrams and technical data are provided with the electrical components.
Controllers should be installed in a suitable control cabinet.
Membrane monitoring (DM options).
Although DELLMECO membranes are designed for optimum performance and maximum service life, regular maintenance should be part of the service program. This is referred to as Preventive Maintenance Planning (PMP).
For added safety in sensitive applications, potential pump damage, for example from medium leakage into the central pump housing, can be easily and effectively prevented by installing a diaphragm monitoring system from DELLMECO.
A capacitive diaphragm sensor is mounted in the pump’s silencer and detects the presence of medium in the immediate vicinity of the sensor. This allows immediate corrective action to be taken.
The membrane monitoring system is available in two versions:
– DM1 – Membrane sensor (NAMUR type), also suitable for explosive areas
– DM2 – Complete membrane monitoring system with sensor and controller (S)
Flange connections (PN10 options).
With this option, it is possible to use flange connections according to the DIN/PN10 standard. Here, the suction and discharge connections are provided with threaded bushings made of stainless steel.
The supplied O-rings should be placed in the grooves of the manifolds before assembly to ensure optimum sealing.
Available options:
– F1 – Flange connection PN 10 with EPDM
– F2 – Flange connection PN 10 with NBR
– F3 – Flange connection PN 10 with FEP/FPM
Split connections (S-options).
All pump models can be equipped with split connections (code S).
This allows the pump to be converted from a standard double-acting air-driven diaphragm pump to a version with two separate chambers.
The suction and discharge connections are replaced by a split jacket, with separate suction and discharge connections for both chambers.
Both chambers function independently of each other. Because they are operated by the same actuator, it is possible to pump two media flows in a 1:1 ratio.
Heating/cooling jacket (HJ options).
The heating/cooling jacket is used when the pumped medium must maintain a specific high or low temperature throughout the pumping path.
A heating or cooling medium is continuously circulated through the jacket, enveloping all liquid-contacting parts of the pump.
This option is available for all pumps in our hygienic series.
Pump truck (T-options)
Make your DELLMECO pump mobile.
The trolley option is available for all pump sizes.
Powder pumps (P options)

Key features:
– Replaces manual processes for powder transportation
– Reduces airborne contamination – powders are moved directly and in a closed system
– Economical and simple – unlike large, complex installations
– Portable – easy to move between different locations
Suitable for transporting powders up to 800 kg/m³ (50 lb/ft³).
Reliable, efficient and trouble-free powder transportation of:
– Various kinds of dry food
– Limestone
– Pharmaceutical products
– Talk
– Expanded mica
– Silicones and silicas
– Soot (carbon black)
– Acrylic resins
Pneumixers
The Pneumixer functions both as a pump and a mixer. The system uses the container itself to mix AND pump the medium, and is easily and securely placed in the container’s filling opening.
This clever system eliminates the need for rolling, shaking or separate pumping. This saves valuable time and money and prevents waste and contamination.
Available in AISI 316L stainless steel (or PP for plastic pumps, without ATEX certification).
Mixing mode.
The discharge valve is closed and the recirculation valve is opened to mix the medium in the container.
Transfer pumping (transfer mode)
To simultaneously mix the medium and pump it out of the container, the discharge valve is opened and the recirculation valve is partially opened.
The length of pipe can be custom ordered for any container size.
Drum pumps (D options)
DELLMECO drum pumps are available in standard and conductive versions made of PE, PTFE, aluminum and AISI 316L – for optimal compatibility with different media.
Available sizes range up to 1″ and the pumps are suitable for media of varying viscosities.
Converting 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″ or 1″ plastic or metal pumps to a drum pump or vessel application is easy. The adapter kits are made of chemical-resistant materials and suitable for any application.
The barrel pipe kit comes complete with all necessary mounting hardware. Simply attach the adapter to the barrel and then mount the pump with the connected pipe in the barrel.
The standard barrel pipe length is 1.0 or 1.2 meters, but it can also be custom ordered for any type of container.
